Operation Christmas Child

Operation Christmas Child

What is Operation Christmas Child?

Operation Christmas Child is an annually run project of Christian Organisation Samaritan’s Purse. It involves packing shoe boxes with gifts to be given to disadvantaged children in South East Asia and the South Pacific. Operation Christmas Child, apart from bringing joy, opens doors for the Gospel to be shared.

How will GCCCK participate in Operation Christmas Child?
Our goal in 2015 will be to donate 110 shoeboxes to Operation Christmas Child. We will collect appropriate items for donation over the next month. On October 24 we will have a “Packing Party” to evenly distribute our collections across 110 boxes.

PLEASE KEEP OCTOBER 24 FREE TO HELP US PACK BOXES!

What can I participate in Operation Christmas Child?

1) DONATE NEW AND APPROPRIATE ITEMS
A detailed list of gift ideas and guidelines are located below.

2) CONTRIBUTE FINANCIALLY
The cost of postage and handling for each shoe box is $9. To ship our goal of 110 boxes will require $990.
