Prayer Gathering
Join our monthly prayer gathering as we bring our concerns and needs to God and ask him to lead our church.

Daylight Saving
Daylight saving will begin on 5 October. Remember to adjust your clocks and alarms forward by 1 hour the night before so you are on time for church!

Baptisms and Membership Service
Come celebrate with several people who will be expressing their commitment to follow Jesus by getting baptised and joining the church as members. You don’t want to miss it.

Games Night
Come to our monthly FREE night of competitive fun and to make new friends! A variety of board games for all ages or bring your own. Table tennis is also available downstairs.
Come along, invite your friends, and have a good time.

GraceWomen | Let's Talk - Identity
We will explore the powerful truth of what it means to have an identity in Christ. In a world filled with labels, expectations, and constant comparison, it is easy to lose sight of who one truly is. God’s Word, however, reminds His people that they are chosen, loved, redeemed, and made new in Him.
This gathering will provide space to pause, reflect, and rediscover the unshakable identity found in Christ. Attendees will hear from speakers Eulogia, Lillian Ma, and Christyann, who will share heartfelt stories, practical advice, and encouragement on how the gospel shapes our purpose and priorities.
🍴 Note: The event will conclude earlier than previous ones, and lunch will not be provided.

Men of Grace | Mental Health
Join us as we consider how to deal with mental health in a biblical way and how the gospel transforms everything.

SMBC Children’s Conference
So how do we minister to children and care for families? How can we help families to keep those important lessons about God and Jesus in kids’ minds long after the craft and activities are done?
Join us as we learn from international expert Ed Drew (Faith in Kids), and a host of other children’s ministry professionals on the topic of how to minister to children, with families in mind.
To register, please speak to Susie Chee.

Extraordinary General Meeting
The Board of Deacons would like to call an EGM to be held at Kogarah 21 September 2025 at 2:30pm to (a) address the questions submitted to the Board leading up to the 2025 AGM; and (b) for members to approve the Board's recommendation to ordain Pastor Edward Ruan as a minister of GCCC.
The Board has issued an executive summary to provide members more context regarding the submissions made to the Board about Pastor Nathan Muse’s resignation. For more details, please contact your congregation deacon who can provide you a copy.
Any other matters for discussion at the EGM must be submitted in writing to the Board by 14th September 2025. If you are unable to attend the EGM, please seek a proxy form from your deacon, in the church foyer, or from the Members page.

Mia and her family have been attending mainly music for several years. Recently she was diagnosed with a rare genetic condition, for which there is little treatment options in Australia. They will be travelling overseas for treatment and need our prayers and financial support.

11am Service Cancelled
Due to maintenance at the community centre, there will be no 11am service. Gather with the rest of the congregation at 9am instead (there will also be no morning tea afterwards).

Baptism & Membership Classes
Over 4 weeks (20 & 27 July and 3 & 10 Aug), we will look at what the Bible says about baptism/membership and our distinctives as a church. If you are interested, speak to Pastor Ernest.

Commissioning Service for Bec
Part of our mission statement is to “go out with the gospel”. One way we do that is by sending and supporting those who go out. Express your partnership with Bec by coming along to send her out with the gospel.

Farewell for Muse Family
Bring your own lunch and come along to give thanks to God for Pastor Nathan and his family and all that they have done for us over the past 7 years.
