One of our core values is to train up the next generation of leaders. We want student ministers and MTS apprentices to join us not merely to fill in ministry vacancies, but to train and equip them for a lifetime of ministry. We have experience and opportunities to offer training in the following areas:

    • Deep personal relationship with Jesus and a conviction to live for his glory.

    • Prayerful dependence upon God.

    Conviction

    • Undertaking (or preparing to undertake) formal theological training or ministry apprenticeship.

    • Reformed and evangelical in theology and practice.

    • Importance of local church and global mission.

    • Alignment with our beliefs, vision, mission and values

    Competency

    An interest and growing ability to:

    • Committed to expository preaching that faithfully explains the Scriptures and applies it the congregation.

    • Explain the gospel in a variety of ways.

    • Communicate and relate cross-culturally.

    • Lead and train others in ministry.

    • Build relationships with people of all age and background.

    Other

    • Children protection clearance (WWCC) and safe ministry compliance.

    • Live in (or prepared to move to) the Georges River area.

    • Valid NSW Driver’s licence.

  • Remuneration is provided as a stipend and will be based on the experience and qualifications of the applicant.

This position is open to both male and female applicants for 1-5 days a week, on a one-year contract with options for renewal.
